Festival Feedback
Dear Ms Jayanti / Vidya,
I take this opportunity to thank you for giving an opportunity to our students to participate in the Celeberate bandra festival . Participation in such events not only gives a boost to their confidence but also helps create awareness among the community at large.
Thank you once again and we look forward to your support in future too.
Regards

Subject: The Bandra celebrations
Lakshmi and I were able to see many of your presentations, the prominent being the dance programmes on the Carter Road promenade, and the jazz music at Lands End. Very nice indeed, and reflected the amount of organising and sheer physical work that must have gone in to make them so enjoyable. A number of our friends had gone, separately, to them also, and the consensus was great. One factor discernable was the improvement in the quality and range of items over the past, each celebration getting better with the experience and confidence you have gained.
The ones we had gone to were free, and we enjoyed them so much that we almost feel guilty. So we would be grateful if you would accept our donation towards the expenses. Our only regret is that our mite is small, but it is a token of our gratitude more than anything else.
Regards
Lakshmi and Saethu Nair

A well organised evening and most enjoyable.
The talks by Raphy ,Johnnie,Roly,Kekoo and Aylma took me back to the Bandra I remember, not to mention Tucky's "Khimad" brought back memories of the "Aunties' joints of the prohibition days
Lovely meeting everyone at the hall.
Congrats and Regards,

Dear Darryl,
Congratulations for an excellent Celebrate Bandra Festival.
I tried meeting you after you left the stage this evening but lost you in the crowd.
My compliments for the superb planning, choice of events and the venues. Thank you also for letting Jazz Utsav 2007 be a part of this memorable festival that will be cherished in the hearts of many who were fortunate enough to attend.
We hope you will consider making Celebrate Bandra an annual event.
With every good wish
Sincerely,
Prakash

To the Celebrate Bandra Team
I had the privilege of attending most of the events during the festival and would like to extend my congratulations and gratitude to each and every one of you for an absolutely fantastic job. We had a hard time juggling what events to attend from the plethora of interesting choices. Though Darryl mentioned that there was some "discordant notes" I have to confess they were hardly apparent. With the magnitude of the unenviable job at hand, some glitches are likely to crop up, but hey guys in the overall scenario this is to be totally glossed over.
A whole lot of us took the bus from the venue last night. There was a great feeling of camaraderie, the driver made unscheduled stops wherever requested, and a lady doled out 'foogyas' to everyone. The spirit lives on! My caller tune is going to give me several moments of nostalgia...
With warm and grateful thanks for making me proud to live in Bandra!

It's always a great feeling being a Bandraite but the last two weeks were even more exhilarating, despite the traffic jams and bad roads. Thanks for organizing such a fun time; it was difficult to choose where to go, when fortunately we made some good choices and maybe one or two indifferent ones.
Congratulations to Darryl D'Monte and Neale Murray on a tremendous show.
I hope those who are trying to commercialize Bandra realize they face stiff opposition.
Thanks again.
